The swimming pool at this West Indian-style hotel just south of Deshaies seems to merge into the warm Caribbean waters of Ferry Bay – the perfect place to watch for the rayon vert green flash, a good luck symbol that sometimes occurs as the sun slips below the horizon. This incredibly romantic little hotel is surrounded by lush plants and filled with colorful furnishings. All the air-conditioned rooms and bungalows have a VCR and TV, but the view of the sea is the focal point. In the sunny restaurant, the chef creates imaginative meals using ingredients fresh from the market and matched with fine wines.
